How Kept a Client works

Updated November 3, 2026

When a deal closes (or you mark a client closed and record the closing facts), Kept a Client plans the client’s year. Each touch has a lane: Goes out on its own (a branded email), Waits for your approval (a text or email Nadia drafts for you to edit and approve), or A task for you (a call or a pop-by, on Today). Nothing is emailed until the client has said yes to staying in touch.

Where to find it

Open Kept a Client in the CRM. Home shows what’s waiting for you and who has gone quiet, Clients lists every past client with their next and last touch, Program is the touch calendar (owners change lanes, switch touches off and set the pace), and Emails shows the stay-in-touch emails.

What clients get

A monthly home report with value, equity and nearby sales; an anniversary note on the closing date; a note when a similar home nearby sells or lists; a birthday note you approve; and a property tax season note. A client can stop any one kind from the email footer or their My Home page.

Questions

A client didn’t get their report. Why?

Check that their closing facts are saved and that they said yes to staying in touch. Their page in Kept a Client shows their next touch and anything skipped.
