Your first day as an agent
Your brokerage has invited you. This takes about ten minutes, and after it new leads reach your phone the moment they come in.
Accept your invite
Open the invite email and press Set my password. The link works for 7 days; if it expires, ask your brokerage to send a new one. Then sign in at /agent/ on your brokerage’s site. If your brokerage asks for two-step sign-in, you’ll set it up right after, with any authenticator app.
Put the agent app on your phone
The agent app opens straight to your leads, with your brokerage’s name and logo.
- iPhone: open your brokerage’s site in Safari and sign in at
/agent/. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add. Open it from your home screen from now on. - Android: sign in at
/agent/in Chrome and tap Add the agent app to your home screen. If you don’t see the button, open Chrome’s menu and tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
Turn on lead alerts
On the Leads page, press Turn on alerts and allow notifications. On an iPhone, do this from the app on your home screen, since iPhones only send alerts to installed apps. In your profile you choose which alerts you get, and the morning brief email, with who to call today, arrives just before 7am.
Work your leads
The app has three tabs:
- Leads starts with Call today: the people most worth a call right now, and why. Open anyone to see the homes they looked at, saved and loved.
- Inbox holds every text and email with your leads in one place.
- Action plans are follow-ups that run on their own: emails, texts and tasks spaced out over days or weeks.
How leads reach you is set by your brokerage. With Take turns, each new lead goes to the next agent in line. With Shared pool, new leads wait until someone claims them, so be quick.
Text your leads
Open a lead and press Draft with Nadia for a first draft, edit it as you like, then press Send text. Nothing goes out until you send it. Texts go from your brokerage’s number, only to people who agreed to get them, and only between 8am and 9pm where your brokerage is. Anyone who replies STOP gets no more texts until they reply START.
