How-to

Build an action plan

Updated November 3, 2026

An action plan is a list of steps (an email, a text, a task, a wait of some days or minutes, or a change like adding a tag or moving the stage) that runs for each person on it. Add someone with Add to plan, or let the plan start on its own for new leads from a source, a stage change, a tag or a closing. A plan pauses by itself when the person replies or books a tour.

  1. Start a plan

Open Plans and press New plan, or start from a starter plan.

  2. Add the steps

Add each email, text, task and wait in order. Use templates for the words; merge fields fill in each person’s name and details.

  3. Choose how people join

Leave it manual, or set a trigger: a new lead from a source, a stage, a tag, or a closing.

  4. Watch it run

Each person’s Plans tab shows where they are. Resume or stop it there.

Questions

What if someone has no phone or no consent?

That step is skipped and noted, and the plan moves on.

Who can use my plan?

An owner’s plans are shared with the whole team. An agent’s own plans are theirs until the owner shares them.
