A text goes only to someone who agreed to texts (they saved a search with their phone, filled in a form with the consent box, or texted you first), only between 8am and 9pm in your brokerage’s time zone, and never to anyone who replied STOP until they reply START. A text that hits quiet hours waits for the morning. These rules apply to texts you send, action plans and Nadia alike.
Questions
Why does the send button say they haven’t agreed?
That person has no text consent on file. Ask them to text you first, or to save a search or fill in a form with their phone, which records consent.
Does an imported list have consent?
No. Consent comes from the person, so imported people get emails but not texts until they agree.
What if texting is off for the whole brokerage?
Texting needs the carrier registration approved and the owner to turn it on. See Get texting approved.
