Lead rules are office policy, under Settings, Lead rules on the Nadia site. Combine any of: all new leads, a list of sources, leads assigned to agents with a seat, people with the opt-in tag (“AI Follow-up” by default), or certain stages. The denylist always wins: excluded stages (Sphere, Past Client, Active Client, Trash and Dead by default), competing ISA tags, people handed off, do not contact and opted out.
The daily start number
The daily start number is how many new conversations she may start today. Replies never use a slot, and anyone past the number waits until tomorrow. It is not a limit on your pipeline.

Can she catch leads from before I turned her on?
Yes. Recent-leads backfill (about 30 days by default) is an optional window you can turn on.
